With a major win in the Nyandeni Ward 21 by-election in the Eastern Cape, where we beat major parties such as the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and the United Democratic Movement, the African Transformation Movement is aiming for the top prize in the upcoming elections on the 8th of May 2019.
We believe that our ability to govern the nation will come from character our values of Putting South Africans First. The major win in the Eastern Cape by-election shows that the African Transformation Movement can gain margins on larger parties such as the African National Congress (ANC) and the Democratic Allaince (DA).
The ATM believes divine intervention is needed going into the elections and party members gathered in Pretoria for a prayer session ahead of the polls.
We have set our eyes on the Union Buildings and we won’t just contest this year’s elections but will win.
“If you check on what’s happening in the country with the amount of experience that current politicians have -SOEs are failing, there’s protests every day, so it clearly shows that competence alone doesn’t count for anything you just need people with right mindset and character to serve the people,” said ATM leader, Vuyo Zungula.
